Shadowrun tokens! Free ones, even!

Here are three character tokens I banged out today for my Shadowrun campaign. There’s no way I’ll have the time to put together a proper token pack, so I’m putting them up for free.

Enjoy, and have a great holiday.

Ogre has entered the game

coming-soon-23

Had just enough time to finish up on one of several ogres to add to the Battleground token pack.

Now – time to get ready for the game. 8pm on Twitch.

And grows …

coming-soon-22

Spent a bit too much time today trying to design a trench that I liked and that matched the style I’m shooting for, but damn, I just wasn’t happy with any of them.

Still not completely happy with this one, so it may change before this pack is finished.

It wasn’t a complete wash – the siege tower is finished, and what’s a battleground without a variety of crates?

The orcs need a buddy. I’m thinking an ogre or hill giant. Tomorrow.

Before the game, that is. 8pm EST on Twitch – live stream (session 19 of Hoard of the Dragon Queen) of 5th edition D&D.

The warband grows

coming-soon-21

My reward for completing housework today has been sitting down for a short while and working on Battleground tokens.

Luckily, there is a lot of housework, so that equals a lot of rewards.

I’ve finished a dozen orc variations and put together two sizes of wooden battlefield walls (useful for protecting troops from incoming missile fire).

Tonight: Walking Dead! And if I’m lucky – more tokens.

Ha! Visigoths!

coming-soon-20

Saw the terrific touring Broadway production of Pippin tonight. Definitely check it out if it swings by a city near you.

Also finished the Battleground catapult!

Sadly, there won’t be any catapults at the Ren Fest tomorrow.

Battleground – battering ram

coming-soon-19

The amount of time I have to work on tokens has diminished considerably since starting the new job a couple of days ago, but I found a couple of hours tonight and finished up on the first of several war machines that will be offered with the next token pack.

My plan is to put together a couple of variations of battering ram, ballista, and catapult to go along with the various battlefield dressings and other creatures/humanoids.

Hopefully a few more drawing hours tomorrow, and then renaissance festival this weekend!

Until next time …

Tokens – Pack 07 – Threats 1

$4.99

Raven & Blade Pack 7 includes a selection of creatures that may be encountered by fledgling adventurers (or even experienced adventurers). The tokens are tailor-made for the fantasy/sword-and-sorcery genre of RPGs, but can also easily be incorporated into your sci-fi, modern, horror, or military warfare games!

Pack 7 includes black and brown bears, many varieties of humanoids (bullywugs, bugbears, lizardfolk, cultists), strange creatures like the gargoyle, otyugh, stirge, ghoul, gray ooze, and ghost, giant spiders and frogs, and two varieties of dragon dog. As a bonus, pack 7 also contains five varieties of autumnal deciduous tree.

Ideal for virtual tabletop systems like Roll20 and Fantasy Grounds.

Pack 7 contains 44 tokens. Tokens range in size from 280×280 to 560×560 transparent .pngs. All are 72 dpi, and will be zipped and emailed to you as soon as the payment is processed.

All payments are through PayPal.

Ghouls and bugbears

Three bugbear variations? Two ghouls (one plain and one with the Raimi treatment)? Done and done.

These bring the count in the new token pack up to 35. Still not quite enough for a release, but it’s getting close!

That’s better

Nothing that a little desaturation couldn’t fix.

Oh, I made a otyugh while I was at it. His Mad Max name shall be Clutch Sausage.

Working towards pack #7

Originally, I thought packs 6 and 7 would be themed around low-level threats. The kinds of things a party of 1st-5th level adventurers would run into.

Pack 6 turned into a Halloween-themed pack.

I thought pack 7 may have ended up as a H’ween part 2.

It’s looking more like Rainbow Brite part MY GOD THE COLORS.

I blame the lowly gang of cultists … I wanted to make sure all of the common colors were represented. Go go power cultists.

May work with those a bit to tone down the intensity. But we’re getting closer!

In addition to the cultists, I whipped up some giant frogs and a couple of bears. This pack isn’t looking Halloweeny AT ALL (save for the ghosts and mayyyybe the cultists), so this may become the low-level threats pack I was considering.

So far: black bear, brown bear, 4 lizardfolk, 4 bullywugs, 3 ghosts, 4 giant frogs, 3 giant spiders, 8 cultists, and a lonely stirge.
